The latest Cisco examination fee changes can easily be divided into three categories i.e. Cisco CCNA examination, Cisco CCNP examination and Cisco CCIE examination fee changes. We will see the changes as per the level of Cisco certification, let’s have a look –
Major changes in Cisco CCNA examination fee
After the changes, the cost of Cisco CCNA R&S examination is increased to USD 325 which was USD 295 before these changes were announced. CCNA exam fee for other advanced technology exams such as CCDA 200-310, CCNA Industrial 200-601 IMINS2, CCNA Wireless 200-355 WIFUND and CCNA Security 210-260 IINS is USD 300.
Before the change, cost of CCNA examination for every networking domain was same i.e. USD 295. In addition, the certification cost of CCNA Service Provider, CCNA Collaboration, CCNA Cyber Ops and CCNA Cloud is 600 USD each.
Major changes in Cisco CCNP examination fee
Cisco has also increased the cost for Cisco CCNP examination. Before the changes were announced, the Cisco CCNP exam fee for each module was USD 250. After the changes, CCNP fee for Routing and Switching, Security and Collaboration track, is increased to 300 USD for each module of the exam.
Different track of Cisco CCNP certification has different number of modules hence the total cost of CCNP certification varies with the track of CCNP certification. Below listed are the examination fees for different tracks of Cisco CCNP certification exam –
- Cisco CCNP R&S certification has three modules, thus the total cost of CCNP Routing and Switching certification is 900 USD.
- Cisco CCNP Security certification has four modules, thus the total cost of CCNP Security certification is 1200 USD.
- Cisco CCNP Data Center certification has five modules, thus the total cost of CCNP Data Center certification is 1500 USD and so on.
Major changes in Cisco CCIE examination fee
There are not many changes in cost of Cisco CCIE exam, the written examination fee of any 400-xxx CCIE exam is increased to USD 450. In addition, the written exams fee of 352-001 CCDE Expert Level is also increased to 450 USD. Before the changes, fee for CCIE written exam was USD 400.
It is to be noted that CCIE 400-xxx exam includes – CCIE Routing and Switching written, CCIE Collaboration Written, CCIE Security Written, CCIE Service Provider Written, CCIE Data Center Written and various other CCIE written exams.
Till now, no changes have been announced in Cisco CCIE Lab examination fee it is still USD 1600.
